Not a task for the technically timid, but this MC can be modified to replace the OEM MC in a 1969 US Lotus Elan. The front and rear circuit ports must be milled down to allow clearance with the adjacent clutch MC, then the ports must be tapped to accept the brake pipe fittings, the mount flange bolt holes must be opened up to accommodate the mount to the firewall, the counter bore at the back of the piston has to be radiused to accommodate the OEM style actuating rod, and the fluid reservoir cap has to be modified to accept the SOVY device. The 0.75" bore on this MC is larger than the 0.70" bore on the OEM, which means more pedal force is required in use, but the force required does not feel excessive.
