The companies manufacture their product to include this tiny piece of plastic that is exclusive and proprietary.It seems that whenever anybody makes any product they have to include some thing that you can’t get from anywhere in the world except the originating company. I see absolutely no purpose for this besides the fact that they charge $20 and it cost a nickel to make.So good for you Dormbratch company! You got my $20 for a tiny plastic piece that shouldn’t have existed in the first placeThen again, I’m not smart, and this plastic piece probably separates the metal so that they don’t fused together. That way any cartridge could be fit with any handle so I suppose I do see the need for this product and $20 is really not a lot to pay for some thing that lasted 22 years.Are to take back what I said it’s a good produt and a good company and I’m satisfied.
