On the face of it, this was a sturdy drill stand, looked to be just what I needed. I have two drills, both of which fit nicely into the 43 mm collar as far as the diameter is concerned. Unfortunately, the drill stand collar is ~25 mm deep. When fitted flush with the body of the drill, the collar fouls against the chuck, preventing it from turning. I need a collar that is 21 mm deep maximum. There doesn't seem to be any way around this, short of buying a new drill (and hoping it fits). I spoke to Draper product support and they were unable to suggest a solution, so this product will have to be returned.

The bolt securing the downward mechanism loosens after a couple of strokes making it totally inaccurate.Complete waste of time.

Draper 54488 Vertikalbohrer Stand hat eine Führungsaule von Durchmesser 24h9 es gibt Rundmaterial 24h9 auch in 1 Meter lange. Die Skala ist vom Hersteller nicht besonders gut abzulesen siehe Foto2. Ich habe die M3 Gewindeschraube verlängert Foto 3. Mit foto 4 ist die ablese Genauigkeit fur mich besser.

4.9 stars really! Good value, well design and built, superior to Garden Mile one in same price range.Two small problems:1. The depth stop clamping screw hole was not tapped fully through. If you do not have an M8 tap to fix this a 6mm diameter ball bearing or small nut poked into the hole may fix. But be sure it passes easily through and will not get jammed.2. The pointer for the ruler does not reach the milimeter marks on the ruler. Piece of wire or something may fix.Otherwise quite pleased, well adequate for most DIY jobs.

La precisión en bajada no es del todo buena, espero que vaya cogiendo la manera de hacerlo para que no se desvie la broca al bajar
