Priced at $19.99 at the time of review. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.These deodorizers are much bigger than I expected but they are made with great quality. I like the fun shape a lot. The scent is quite strong and a bit herbal/earthy/masculine, but not off-putting. I first hung it in a small closet but the scent is too strong for that purpose. They would best suit in a larger closet (walk-in size) or be used in boots. For most shoes I have the size would be too big. One good part about it is that there is zipper closure so when the scent is eventually gone, you can replace the filling with your own mix of deodorant/scent. Not sure how to go about that though. The seller does not list any refills.

These Chilisoles deodorizers look so cute. They have a good strong scent to knock out odors. It smells like lavender and baking soda to me. It’s actually pleasant. I used them in my soft fabric shoes. They did get rid of odors. My shoes smelt a little of the fragrance after taking the deodorizers out.The size fits perfectly into shoes and boots. They feel kind of like bean bags and are slightly flexible. The deodorizers have two different size ends. The narrow end can fit into slim, tight spaces. The thicker end fits well into the toe part of footwear. I love that they contain natural ingredients.These deodorizers would also be great for hanging near pet litter boxes. The set comes with two carabiner clips for hanging. It also comes with an eco-fused cleaning cloth.

After wearing my new tennis shoes for long walks multiple times a week, I noticed they weren’t so fresh anymore. That was very disappointing, but this shoe deodorizer was a lifesaver!It’s compact and fits easily inside my shoes. I got the chili-shaped deodorizer which is perfect as a shoe insert. The odor was almost gone in a day (but I left it for 3 days to ensure it eliminated as much of the odor as possible). The added bonus is it also absorbs moisture, which helps prevent smells from coming back. The package comes with 2 carabiners that allow you to hang these in a closet or a locker. The manufacturer recommends recharging the deodorizer every 2-4 weeks by placing them under the sun. I recharged mine by keeping it under the sun for a couple of hours. They also should last anywhere between 6-12 months.It’s simple, effective, and doesn’t rely on strong chemicals which is a major plus. I’m thrilled with how well they work. I hope they last for a year, then it will be worth the money for sure!

My boyfriend's trainers were starting to smell pretty bad, let's just say. I saw these carrot deodorizers online and thought I'd give them a try.The carrots are bigger than I expected, which is good because they fit perfectly inside his trainers. They have a strong, earthy scent – it's not unpleasant, but definitely noticeable. The listing mentions essential oils and herbs, and I can definitely smell something natural.The smell is quite potent, so we keep the trainers and carrots in a larger ziplock bag within his gym bag to prevent the smell from transferring to his other gear.These deodorizers have truly worked wonders! The smell in his trainers is completely gone. I'm very impressed and might even get some for my own shoes!"

If you didn't watch the product video you might not realize how big these are since the product description doesn't mentioned the size, so I added a ruler to my photo to show that each carrot is about 21cm long. As you can see in the screenshots from the product video, that length means that these shoe deodorizers probably will not fit inside your shoes. That could be a good thing if you're planning to use these with boots, or if you just like to have some air circulation. However, it also means that these are big and bulky and a bit heavy so personally I'll be using them at home only and not carrying them with me.In terms of effectiveness, the sheer amount of material does absorb moisture and odors very well. The included carabiners also help to hang these in a closet or a locker to keep things smelling fresh inside.The packaging does say that they will only last 6-12 months depending on usage, which does seem a bit of a waste for all the material and great construction. One thing I noticed was that the plastic in which they came in had an orange tint and later I saw that the orange stained a white insole, so I would keep it away from white shoes and clothes if you're hanging them.They look great, smell great, and the included carabiners are great to expand their usage outside of just shoes.
