Needed a tension rod to turn my IKEA bookshelf into a closet system! Did the job and was just enough slack for the 14.5in width. Has a nice grip to avoid slip and my newborn clothes hang perfectly on it!

I used this product for a toddler wardrobe. I wanted a short tension rod that wasn't cheap, thin, plastic looking, but most of the rods I found in this size were those white (or black) slim sticks that look like the max they can hold up is a short, sheer curtain. I took a chance on this product based on the photos (no reviews at that time), and while the packaging it came in was, khmm, unusual - with lots of transparent scotch tape tied around the plastic bag it was sitting in - the rod itself was what I was hoping for: robust, metal looking, strong spring, perfect length.
