These stickers were easy to apply to the wall I was using them for. My wall is smooth and painted. There is a little legend that tells you how to put the stickers together to achieve the picture in the advertisement, but the butterflies and dragonflies can be places anywhere. I used a sponge and credit card to smooth them onto the wall. So far, they are sticking well and have not peeled.I like the way the stickers brighten up my room and I am very happy with the results.
