I was a bit worried I need something more sturdy to support an adult mountain bike but this stand offers stability and small footprint (for packing away) that I needed. It supports occasional bike maintenance for the family hobbies.

OK, so I was somewhat sceptical on ordering this, not believing such a small stand could support an adult bike, allowing it to be worked on. Friends have suggested I get a larger stand with clamp to hold the bike off the ground, however I don't really have the space for something so big.To my surprise, this stand far exceeds my expectations. You simply push the horizontal bar into the bottom bracket, through the chain ring side. The bike then sits sturdily and can easily be worked in.You can ctuslly tilt the bike either way, allowing you to work on the front or back wheels. With the front down, however, you can easily turn the pedal and test all of your gearing, etc.This is perfect for my needs. The bike stands strong and can easily be worked on sufficiently.Most definitely a well recommended bike stand. I'll be putting this to use for years to come.
