I haven't had a chance to wear it yet. I will know tomorrow though because I am training and will give it a try. I wanted to say the service was second to none though. I was given an estimated arrival date of next week but it is a week early, even though it shipped from the United States. I'm very impressed. I practice karate and had a double mastectomy and so the normal chest guards female karateka wear will no longer fit my flat but boney chest. I am a veteran athlete on the national team. My coach suggested I try a fencing chest guard for men instead. They don't make flat chestguards for male karate practitioners. Anyway, after a search I saw this. It seemed more expensive than some of the others I looked at but a better quality. I measure my chest and ordered based on the guide. I tried it up against myself and it appears to be the right size. I will see how it feels tomorrow and when I wear it under my gi top. It is designed to go over the clothes of fencers so we'll see... the jury is out. I won't be able to return if it doesn't fit well, as I will have worn it, so I sincerely hope it works. However based on delivery and quality alone, the product is well worth what I paid. For some reason, a small is £20 extra. If I had got larger or and extra small it would have been cheaper. I'm not sure why only the small was that much more expensive but I'm not complaining because I was willing to pay what I paid for a quality product.

Ran a little big . I used the size chart but had to return and go down a size. It’s a thick plastic with a thick material on top. I like the added layer . My previous chest protector was only plastic and cracked in the center. Hopefully the material helps. It’s comfortable to wear

Chest protector works well at keeping me protected! Only issue I've had is some of the stitching came undone while I was sparring and I had to sew it back together.
