I just got these in and think they are very nice for the job I have a hand. I just need to tame the felt recoil of a few Lever action rifles, with metal capped stocks, these fit right on, are very soft and will not harm the wood, and have a jelled pilling that should improve shooting experience. Very nice material, well-constructed and very cost effective.

It is not easy to put on. I only managed to do it by using a narrow plastic shoe hornThe quality is good when new, time will tell how long it will last. My stock at the recoil pad, where it is the widest, measures 14 cm (~ 5.5 inches)

I added this to my 12 gauge to absorb some of the kick but find that it also adds a healthy inch or more to the length of pull so it makes it more difficult for me to shoot accurately. It really does help with the kick...so if you have room to spare then this works great. It is a little difficult to put on but with some effort it can be done...it won't be sliding off after.
