Rot war gewünscht, aber Hammer war zu kompakt, zu schwer. Leider gefiel das Geschenk nicht.

I have just received my new Dejerine reflex hammer - very nice solidly built, with a matte-finished handle. It looks very professional with a nice rubber weighted-head, which elicits tendon reflexes with great ease, with a light short swing of the long silver handle (technique is important in eliciting tendon reflexes). I chose this one as it has a 21cm length handle, which I have found gives that little more ease of swing (but that is probably a personal thing). The pin and the brush are an added feature, but not that importent to me, as I use one-use pins and a blunt disposable stick for cutaneous reflexes. I prefer the Dejerine-type reflex hammer, as it has a good weight to it and its broad, but firm, rubber rounded head is kind to patients and to the examiner, especially when we have to place a finger on the smaller tendons before striking; no more wincing or 'hurt' fingers. The 'terrible' rubber smell alluded to in other reviews, was not very noticable to me at all - unless I held it close to my nose. I have found that rubber loses its smell after some time in the air and with use; it certainly isnt a strong and overpowering smell. I would recommend this reflex hammer to anyone in the medical profession who needs to perform a neurological examination - that is just about everyone! It is sturdy and should last many years and will fit nicely into a pocket or medical bag. Great buy for the price.

Prodotto di buona qualità. All'inizio la gomma del martelletto emana un cattivo odore che però svanisce con il tempo. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
