This is mains powered, so you need to site it somewhere where you have a socket close by or an extension cable handy. It sits nicely on a flat surface, although it does come with a small wall mount bracket and fixings. It was easy to set up, just download the app, plug the device in and ask the app to add device. You are then just asked what the device is from their list of possibles and away you go. Like most devices of this nature, it only likes a 2.4 GHz connection, so some people may have to fiddle with their router for this. Mine paired immediately and there we were on the screen. The picture is clear, and you can pick up sound as well. If you are away and want to talk to your pets, the device supports this, although both the sound and picture have a slight delay which makes it a little difficult to have a normal conversation. The motion detection works well and having it on while I am sat here typing with my dog running around is quite amusing as the camera is following her movements, and then back to me when I scratch my head! From the app you can move this around yourself if you are watching it from afar. It does all that is promised and seems to do it well. You can use this with Alexa and Google, although I have not tried that as I have no need for it. At £19.99 (at time of review) it is not a bad price although there are cheaper ones out there and you can even get this one in black for £3 less.My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. Considering this is just around £20, it's actually pretty good camera. It has its own support bit and turns around nicely where needed. The light isn't actually blue as in my picture but red. It's just showing weird in my picture.Picture quality is really good and night one as well. You can also use this to talk and the voice is okay.Now, since this is a cheap cam it does come with some sacrifices, such as a second-two long delay. But I won't take a star off because I wouldn't even expect perfection from a cheap product.The app is fairly bare bones but it does make this easy to use so fair enough.This is definitely worth the money despite being cheap!
