I would not suggest using this as a paring knife. You can, but the curve makes it awkward. On meat or carcass though, this is excellent. The blade is CRAZY sharp. Be careful! It's not loose or floppy, but it is very thin metal. I was surprised, usually blades come with a bit more metal, but this gets the job done regardless. I think this knife is intentionally made thing to help keep the edge. It cuts through meat, cartilage, and small bones with ease. Was perfect for removing all viable meat from a whole roasted chicken. I look forward to using it more in the future.Oh, and it looks nice! I didn't include any pictures because the product image is accurate.

I wanted a sharp knife that didn't cost an arm and leg and while this one isn't "cheap", for the quality - you definitely get your money's worth and then some. First off - if you haven't used a "sharp" knife before, be warned - this knife is razor sharp. It cuts through fruit as if it's pre-softened butter. There is almost no resistance when cutting and what little resistance there is, disappears once the knife start slicing through its meat or vegetable victim. My only concern when using this knife is not to cut off a finger or slice my palm - it's that sharp. The sad part is, once you use a knife of this caliber it's almost impossible to go back to a regular "sharp" knife as they seem like kid's utensils. If you are looking for a sharp knife that can handle almost anything - you can't go wrong with this one. Highly recommended!

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und war gut verpackt. Das Messer hat eine hohe Anfangsschärfe und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Balance ist auch gut und ausgewogen.Würde es wieder kaufen.

Dieses scharfe Messer gefällt mir sehr gut. Es ist sehr praktisch in der Anwendung und erledigt seine Aufgaben schnell und mühelos.

This is one gorgeous knife. Straight out of the box it's very sharp, which I appreciate. Feels very comfortable and balanced in my average female hand. Although it's a fillet knife, I find myself reaching for it quite often even when I'm doing other cutting tasks in the kitchen. This knife is also perfect for gifting due to the packaging, presentation, and appearance.
