Love this brush. It is soft, beautiful, well made and ready to use on a newborn scalp. This is a quality brush which is so functional. It gently brushes the hair and massages the scalp. No scraping or scratching. I love how it will grow with my little one. Amazing brush you will use every day and worth every penny.

We are loving this sweet little brush for our newborn! He has very fine hair and doesn't have much of it, so this type of brush works perfectly. It probably wouldn't be a good choice for thick or curly/coily hair. It is so soft, and I rub it around in circles on my baby's scalp to stimulate hair growth, and he loves the little massage. It is packaged in a cute little gift bag that can be reused (we are using it to store toy links). You do lose a hair bristle here and there while brushing baby, but it doesn't bother us.

My son is a year old, and has very fine hair. This brush works perfectly for his hair, just to get it neat after a bath, or after bed-head. :) I washed the brush with dish soap before use, and made sure to pull at it to get any loose bristles out. It barely sheds at all now. There is no bad smell (when it's wet, it smells kind of earthy, but that's because it's a goat's hair), but it doesn't really smell once it's dry. I don't think this brush would get tangles out, as it seems more of a brush to just get the hair smoothed out and neat. It's very, very soft!
