Lagerung und Handhabung: haftendes Flussmittel sollte bei Raumtemperatur (20 °C – 25 °C) aufbewahrt werden. Spritzen und Patronen sollten vertikal, mit der Dosierspitze nach unten, aufbewahrt werden. Korrekt gelagertes haftendes Flussmittel besitzt eine Haltbarkeit von 12 Monaten. Nicht gefährlich für den Versand, fällt nicht unter die Regelungskompetenz von DOT.

Das ist dasbeste Flussmittel, das ich je verwendet habe. Im Gegensatz zu Flussmittelstiften verdampft es nicht einfach, sondern bleibt lange unverändert flüssig und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Nach dem Löten kann man es ganz einfach mit IPA entfernen.

Leider nicht zufrieden. Wir hatten das Produkt bereits vor ca 1 Jahr bezogen. Da stimmte eigentlich alles. Nun erhalten wir das Flussmittel und es ist definitiv nicht das drin was drauf steht. Wir werden es aus Sicherheitsbedenken nicht mehr verwenden, da wir den Inhalt so nicht nachvollziehen können. Während das vor ca 1 Jahr gekaufte Produkt z.B. einen SBGA in kurzer Zeit und Wärme löst löst dieses Flussmittel ( aktuell ) innerhalb der 10 fachen Zeit rein garnichts!Auch farblich unterscheidet sich das aktuelle Produkt stark vom vor einem Jahr gekauften Produkt mit identischer Bezeichnung. Unsere persönliche Meinung ist, dass es sich hierbei um kein Originalprodukt handelt! Schade! Wir hatten wirklich gedacht endlich eine gute Bezugsquelle gefunden zu haben.

Amtech flux gel came on time. It's all as advertised. I am hoping it's not a knock-off which won't work well or will leave gunk residue or whatever on the equipment I'll be using it on. Rip-offs are getting harder and harder to spot. That is why I have chosen Amazon as a layer of protection. Hope this tactic works! ;-)Now, what I am VERY disappointed about is the item's expiration date! I am not someone who replenishes stock every week or so thus making mine expiration date somewhere in the end of the 3rd quarter this year very near. But it is what it is. I am hoping for the best which is why I purchased this one.Amtech is known for making high quality chemicals such as this one. I don't mind paying a little bit more on any product as long as I am getting it's quality worth! Amtech is one of those brands.

The hype about this flux is fully justified, it's the best on the market. Makes solder flow extordinarily well. Not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for.

This is awesome flux, the best I've ever used. It's very slow to boil away, the residue is mild and easily cleaned off. Even the smoke is less and not as noxious as almost every other flux I've used. The syringe applicator works perfectly, but the default tube doesn't come with a plunger, so if you don't have a 30cc plunger, get the part marked "kit" to get the plunger with it. The syringe comes with a short needle, but it's a standard Luer lock, so any dispensing needle will work. I put a slightly finer needle on it for more precision, and had no issues. It's very manageable to apply, it doesn't string and isn't intensely sticky. It flows under heat, but stays mostly put, making cleanup easier. I did some informal tests, and it deals with surface oxidation like the lower end of the high activity fluxes, but the residue doesn't seem to cause corrosion, acting more like a low-activity flux.

This stuff is beyond words. I have used a fair few different kinds over the years. This is the only flux I will be using for a long while to come. This is the real deal. Not some knockoff from ... wherever. It stays liquid and clear for a loooong time once the soldering tip or air gun 'melts' it. Practically speaking you don't have to clean it like the name says (it does not turn into the usual hard brown resin or corrosive mess like some flux do) but if you want to remove it, all you need is some swabs and some isopropanol.This stuff is worth it's weight in gold (luckily only figuratively speaking). It's economical too. You might think 30cc is not a lot but it goes a very long way. Now finally available in Europe.In the words of the great Louis Rossmann : Don't delay, buy today.

I wasn't sure about spending that much money on this flux. Boy was I wrong. If you can afford it, do it... It is magical.
