Each halter is made of over 16 feet of 100% nylon web, double sewn and triple-thick. Its 100% nylon thread is sewn in a diamond tack design to give the halter form and rigidity for a superior fit. I received this item a little bit ago and I just finally got it on my mini stallion. I'd have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality. The color is very lovely and while I was worried the charming shade would arrive differently, I was happy to see that it was as pictured. It is nice and adjustable and the whole thing feels like a good quality item.It is very sturdy because I am currently using it on a horse that has never had a halter or lead before and is quite reluctant and it has held up through every nasty bolt he has thrown.I was worried ordering it online but because of the adjustable strap I was able to achieve a good fit. I ordered the average and it fit my somewhat on the larger end of average mini. He has a fine head though. The halter did not fit the other mini I had who has a rather more bulky head as some minis do. The large would be appropriate for her.I ordered another raspberry halter for my other mini but when the box with the halters arrived I noticed that the box was very beat up to the point of having a "received damaged" sticker placed on it by the post office. When I opened the box I found that my blue halter had arrived perfectly but the raspberry one was entirely missing and in it's place was a yellow construction hat!However, I cannot fault them on this because of Amazon's peerless customer service support. It was the last of it's type available so I was unable to get a replacement but Amazon had credited my account back for the balance of the other halter in less than 12 hours. So even if I was a hair disappointed I am still very happy with Amazon.

This halter is extremely high quality and the adjustable straps really allow for extensive adjustments while still being durable. The buckles, rings, and hardware are really nice quality and I'm actually back on AMAZON to order a second one. You won't be disappointed with the quality of this item.
