Whew - Out of breath! (In a good way).Jump rope is a great aerobic exercise, and this jump rope - on early use - seem very nice to use once "conditioned" and stored in a manner that helps the PVC "rope" take and keep its needed shape. The bearing handles are super "smooth running" and comfortable in the hand, and the weight of the "rope" feels good when skipping. There seems nothing in the design of this jump rope to hold you back in your skipping cadence :)Out of the box, the "rope" needs conditioning (and potentially length adjustment) to be ready for use. It tends to "hold its coils" out of the box. I draped my over the molding surrounding a door frame for a few days (in a heated area) to get the coiling out of the rope... and will likely continue to store the rope that way.The kit comes with instructions, tools, and "setting pins" to shorten the rope as needed. At 6' 1"... the rope seems usable to me as shipped (though I think it would accommodate people a couple inches taller too).It is easy to loosen the "caps" on the handles to remove the rope, the bearing, and the cap that holds the rope it in the handle. It appears it would be straightforward to shorten the rope as needed.I am not a jump rope expert... but glancing about, it seems to market has braided ropes, pvc ropes, braided/pvc combination roles (where the PVC seems to wear better where it strikes the floor), or steel core coated ropes. It seems the PVC material of this rope will be relatively long lived... but ultimately need periodic replacement if used regularly. As you might imagine...the surfaces you jump on will influence how quickly it wears.Very happy with this rope and look forward to building my endurance with it.

Love this rope, the handles are comfortable and the rope has got a nice weight to it. Overall the rope has a high quality feel. The rope comes with plenty of lenth so that you could find a proper length for you.
