This is a great, albeit pricey, litter box. It’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus, but it does create a bit of dust, especially coming from someone who previously had cats trained to use the toilet and used a Litter Robot. A hood or bonnet would probably help with the dust, though I’ve heard cats tend to dislike them. Occasionally, some cats do urinate over the edge, but for the most part, it works well and does the job.

Die Toilette ansuchen ist gut und wird von allen 3 Katzen gut angenommen. Ein Punkt Abzug jedoch, weil das Oberteil doch sehr locker sitzt UND wegen des unverschämt hohen Preises. Ich hatte vorher schon eine Edelstahl-Wanne und habe dieses Klo nur wegen des Aufsatzes - der leider aus Plastik ist - gekauft. Die preisliche Differenz zwischen beiden Toiletten liegt fast 200€ - das ist einfach too much…

Ein tolles, großes Katzenklo. Schnell geliefert. Aber auch bei mir...mit wackeligen Aufsatz! Lässt sich ca. 1,5 cm vor und zurück schieben.Hätte es 59 € gekostet, hätte ich es behalten, weil es doch recht schön ist. Aber bei 159 € erwarte ich doch 100% Qualität.Rücksendung kompliziert, da es nur einen DHL Express in H. gibt.Fehlkauf!

Ganz große Enttäuschung, beim Auspacken gleich mal feststellen müssen, dass die Kunstoffumrandung sowie einer der Eckenschutz gebrochen war. Das Paket selbst war ganz, allerdings war die Verpackung fast doppelt so hoch, wie der Artikel.Weiteres Manko (sofern alles ganz gewesen wäre) ist die ungenauaue Passform der Umrandung. Diese schließt mit der Toilette nicht richtig ab und schlackert. Von mir aus absolut keine Kaufempfehlung - schon gar nicht für diesen Preis!Die Rücksendung muss über DHL-Express erfolgen, was umständlich ist, da nur in einer Postfiliale einzusenden ist

Edelstahl scheint die Lösung zu sein: kein Uringeruch. Selbst das Katzenstreu scheint nicht mehr zu riechen. Unsere Katzen lieben es, da sie nicht in eine Höhle kriechen müssen; wir lieben es, weil es wegen des hohen Rands (extra-Umrandung dazu gekauft) keine raus-geschaufeltes Streu gibt. Auch wenn es preislich der Rolls-Royce unter den Katzentoiletten ist, die Investition ist für langjährige Katzenfreunde sinnig. Ich glaube das ist unser allerletztes Klo - im besten Sinne!

Update:I also have 2 of these litter boxes that are now pitting at the bottom causing urine to leak out. The second litter box I received came with 2 black marks at the bottom of the pan, I didn’t really think anything of it and as time went on I realized they were tiny pits which have now become tiny holes. I read other reviews of people saying they contacted the company and were told it was their cleaner, or something that was the consumers fault but one of mine started out with black marks that grew to holes and my first litter box is now starting to do the same also. I never use any harsh cleaning supplies. (I use The Unscented Company products, amazing products) so it literally has nothing to do with what I used to clean them, also I use to line them before our new cat started ripping the liners out. Unfortunately I wrote a great review when I started out with these litter boxes. Now I’m looking for new boxes. Even though I hated plastic litter boxes, not once did they get tiny holes in the bottom. I’d still like to get a different brand of stainless steel box but not from this company.My original review, I had high hopes:This has been the easiest litter box to clean that I’ve owned. I have two. I also bought the litter scoop from the same brand and the frustrations I’ve had with other litter boxes is gone. I use Pioneer Pet SmartCat Unscented Clumping Grass Cat litter in them. I bought these boxes to replace the Cat Genie. The smell that the Cat Genie produced was discussing. There is zero smell with this new setup I have. I tried plastic litter boxes and they always held a smell. I’m not grossed out cleaning these Stainless steel boxes, it feels more hygienic to me. I’m using bag liners in them but I don’t really need to. I got the sides for the boxes and the sides are nice and high. One of my cats likes to pee close to the edge and the boxes are nice and big so she can turn around and do her thing. The sides have prevented accidents over the edge of the box. I know the price is high but for me it’s been well worth it. I wish I would have had stainless steel boxes all along, then I wouldn’t have wasted money on self cleaning litter boxes over the years, that at some point have to be cleaned and they are way worse to deal with.

Really recommend this especially if you have many cats! The poop doesn’t stick to the surface, easy to clean and good for cats :)
