These are good pliers. The jaws close perfectly and the serrations seem to have some bite to them. My only reservation is that they seem like they will rust really easily. Not a problem if you look after them and clean them with a rag after use.

Seit Jahren verwende ich diverse Irwin Zangen. Sie bieten für mich das beste Preis-Leistungverhältnis am Markt. Meinem Anspruch an eine sehr robuste und präzise Ausführung wird auch diese Zange gerecht. Sie liegt hervorragend in der Hand, selbst bei der Verwendung mit Handschuhen, und kann optimal geführt werden. Ich bin damit mehr als zufrieden.

I bought this item to help me put on stainless steel clips (cable ties) to replace rusted ones holding a heatshield onto my exhaust. They were very useful for this easy job and enabled me to curl the tie-tip under and apply some tension to the clip to get it tight enough. There is a cheaper item on Amazon but I didn't think £8 was much to pay for a good quality tool made in Germany which is what this is. The tool is of medium size and perfect for me. The jaws are superb and the handles comfortable and grippy. They are great to use. Cheaper tools can be OK and do the job but are not like this and can have sharp edges to them too. These will undoubtedly last a lifetime.
