I just received my Joola net. It looks much more heavy duty than the SwiftNet 2.1. I purchased this because it was heavier than the SwiftNet and I thought it would standup in the wind better. It assembles exactly the same as the SwiftNet, a fiberglass pole is inserted into the top fitting on the vertical net supports and is bowed down to provide outward pressure to keep the net taut. However the size of the pole is too big to slide into the hole on the top of the net support. As a result the net just falls over. It should slide into the fitting 1.5 or 2 inches. I tried lubrication and significant pressure but made absolutely no headway. As it stands (or doesn't) the net is useless. Based on other reviews, it looks like there is virtually no product support. I opened a ticket on the Joola website. I'll give them a couple of days to respond. If they don't, this product is going back.Update:I heard from Joola, but it appears it would take several weeks to work through their process to provide evidence and receive parts. Its just not worth it. So back it goes.I would not recommend this product. it is a copy of the SwiftNet design with cheaper lower quality parts. It uses a fiberglass tension pole instead of a carbon fiber pole and cheap, breakable plastic fittings instead of aluminum fittings. It won't hold up. Just spend the extra 40 or so dollars to get the Swiftnet.

Played with the net for two months, center pole cracked and net pole cracked at the top. No satisfaction from contacting customer service. They sent one email saying they were working on a solution and then nothing else even though I sent multiple emails. Does Amazon cover the cost? Our pickleball group all donated to buy this net and we no longer can use it!

Im not one to leave review on Amazon, but these nets should not be sold. We got 15 for our pickleball operation in NYC and they are useless to us. Set up is difficult, they're heavy, and they break super easily. 3 also came defective. Go with SwiftNet

Update 2: We received a new net direct from Joola and have had a chance to use it only once (weather). It certainly is a beefier net and acts more like a permanent net than Swiftnet. It does take two people to setup vs the Swiftnet which can easily be setup by one person. The Joola is heavier and does a better job in the wind than our Swiftnet 1.0…I would think it’s pretty close to the Swiftnet 2.1 with wind (I have used the 2.1 many times, but do not own one). Once the net is setup, I like the Joola better than the Swiftnet, but to me the need for two people to set it up is a downside and one that with a couple of engineering tweaks could be solved by Joola. My wife teaches and many times is setting up our Swiftnet by herself. All in all, it feels like a less refined but beefier version of the Swiftnet 2.1, requires two people to setup but performs more like a permanent net. If you just want light weight, one person setup with a long track record of satisfied customers...maybe the Swiftnet 2.1 is for you. If you want a net that performs better once setup, and you have two people to do it...maybe the Joola is best. I also might add that Joola customer service is outstanding if any issue arises, so although the Joola is less refined, you have the outstanding customer service of Joola to take care of you. In our case we will keep the Joola but are certainly glad we still have our Swiftnet. The Joola will be our first choice, at least for while.Update: I’ve been contacted by Joola customer service. This could very well be a one off and they are working on resolving the issues. I’ll update again when we get the new parts and have a chance to use it.Original Review: (This review was based on a faulty suspension pole which was later resolved with an entirely new Symmetry net from Joola. I'm leaving it for perspective).I bought this because we have the old Swifnet 1.0 (bought in 2019) and this looked to be a nicer and beefier version. I even thought by looking at the pics that Swifnet must have licensed at least part of this to Joola...but boy was I wrong. This thing is an attempt by Joola to latch on to the great engineering of Swiftnet and they messed up royally. It is heavier with zero benefit from that weight, nothing fits as it should, the carbon pole is a POS that split AND the part that slides into each section to hold it together slid into the pole and I had to use pliers to dig them out. Unlike the Swiftnet, there is NO WAY one person can put this together (even if everything worked as it should). One nice thing about it is the net...it is a much beefier net than the Swiftnet, but I never had a chance to try it because the carbon pole split the first time we tried to put it together.Maybe Joola is on to something, but this is not ready for Prime Time by any means. It's going back and we'll wait for a Black Friday opportunity with Swiftnet, but even if we have to pay the $369 they are going for, at least Swifnet is a proven workhorse that holds up very well. We've had ours for four years and really just need to replace the net. Come on Joola!...you can do better than this.
