I bought the 1-1/4” Kolpin receiver hitch for my Skidoo Expedition snowmobile. The receiver fit perfectly and looks very well made. My Kolpin receiver will be used to towing my sled with fishing and camping gear this winter.

Works at is should, no issues with mine. Welds are good and it fit on my 2018 Polaris Sportsman touring.

I bought one of these years ago, and put a 2” ball on it. It has worked great so when I needed an 1-7/8” ball I bought a new drawbar, and I’m glad I did! The shank on this is the same solid bar, but longer than my old one, so it has better engagement with the receiver on my ATV! Everything lined up perfectly, so no issues whatsoever.

The unit I received had a longer shaft so it went in further in my hitch receiver which is good. Unlike the product pictures. However its not very tight in the receiver and moves and rattles when I'm towing. I've only used it once to tow an ice fishing sled and it worked fine. No wear or damage. Time will tell but so far its good and worth the price.

Really neat hitch. The bar is solid steel and very substantial. I bought this from Amazon's warehouse (open box/returns) and I cannot tell the difference other than the product packaging was a little beat up - WHO CARES? This is a great addition to the ATV, allowing me to mount a utility trailer or a garden cart without changing hitches or even moving the linch pin. Great purchase. Would enthustiastically recommend to friends and family (in fact, ordered a second one!)... Folks have asked about the hole sizes... The hole in back fits a 3/4" shank (Class I & II - 1-7/8" or 2" balls). The hole in front is for (up to) a 5/8" lynch pin, not a trailerball (exact diameter is 11/16"). The diameter of the hitch pin is 1/2".Update 12/20/13: The only thing I dodn't like about this product is the closeness of the bar's hitch pin hole to the end of the bar - Over time it may deform my ATV's receiver tube since so little of the bar is actually inside the receiver tube. I have it on a Polaris Sportsman 500 and the drop is about right - a little high actually - with the rear springs set at the softest setting.
