I have had several of these head torches and this one is by far the best. I would go as far to say I cannot see how it could be improved. It came nicely boxed although first impressions from the box was how small this is. The strap is separate but easy to fit. There are no instructions so it’s a bit trial and error but it’s simple to operate and doesn’t take long. It comes with a USB to type C charging cable, so you have all you need. After fitting the strap I was struck with how light the head torch was. There are five modes all operated via one button on the headlamp. Bright light, flashing bright light, reading light red light and flashing red light. Not sure who wants a flashing bright light, but the others are perfect. The red so you don’t loose your night sight, is little used but handy. The cherry on the cake with this headlamp is a second button that operates a sensing mode. Select the light light mode you want then press the sensing mode. By just waving your hand in front of the light turns it on or off. No fumbling around for buttons. The battery life is excellent and easily lasted 4 hours. Very very pleased with this light. Highly recommended.

Awesome head torch. Using this for winter evening running, and it's be fab even offroad. The ability to just wave my hand in front to switch on/off is great. Comfortable and very bright.

A seriously impressive headtorch and one that I feel many will find very useful indeed. As is normal with many of these devices, the power switch turns the unit on and then each successive press cycles between the lighting modes. The lights are bright and more than capable of lighting up a work area or the road in front of you.I'm doing a lot of DIY in an old, dark building at the moment so I've had a good opportunity to try this out. It's comfortable to wear, very easy indeed to operate and a pleasure to use. Working in lofts and other dark areas is made simple when you can see what you're doing!A couple of standout features that make this a winner for me: First, the angle of the light is adjustable so you can point it downwards without having to angle your head to the floor. Second, the remote sensor for automatically turning on the light is a dream. It works flawlessly and it's in the right place at the front of the light. So many are on the side and every time I walk through a door it turns the light on or off. Not with this. Just waving your hand in front of your head switches the light on or off without having to fumble about feeling for the buttons on the device. It's incredibly convenient and due to it's position it doesn't go off by accident. Excellent.The battery is only small so the device can only achieve a couple of hours on high brightness but much longer on a lower setting. With the battery being smaller than many others it also means that the light charges faster and the whole thing is much more compact and light. Swings and roundabouts.Overall I love this little headtorch. Being USB C rechargeable is amazingly convenient and the light is fantastic for all kinds of uses. Recommended.

Got this just for up in the loft and actually have been pleasantly surprised by it. It’s a simple design with an elastic head strap that can be adjusted to fit, a series of LED strips to the front and a side mounted torch. There are two controls on the side of the head torch, one to turn it on and one to cycle through the various modes and combinations of lighting. Most importantly, the light at its brightest setting is definitely bright enough for most activities, as previously mentioned, I got it just for going up in the loft but have used it for a few DIY tasks around the house where there was minimal lighting, so I’m impressed by it.My only advice is possibly wearing it with a cap as for me with a fringe just wearing it on my head meant that sometimes my hair obstructed the light. Other than that it’s a great little product, yes there are more expensive and high end models out there but as an affordable product at a lower price this would go well for small jobs around the house, night walks or even camping so I would recommend it.
