I was initially worried these wouldn't stay up considering other reviews, but I've had no issues so far.They stay just fine, just be sure to tighten them really well.

Our retractable skylight window cover mechanism failed. While looking for a replacement we purchased these to put up a cover that was spring loaded and we could just pop up there. They worked great and were super easy to install and seem pretty sturdy. They worked so well we decided to not spend $300 on a retractable one.

I don't know who came up with this idea but it's absolutely brilliant. I got a deal on my fridge many many years ago because the bottom guard on the door was broken and then I found that it was just far too expensive to replace it . When I found this idea I ordered right away and it was so easy to install and now I freed up a shelf in the fridge because I have an extra shelf on my door. Thank you so very much
