Lakai wurde 1999 von professionellen Skateboardern und Girl Skateboards Mitgründern Mike Carroll und Rick Howard gegründet. Sowohl Carroll als auch Howard entschieden, dass sie einen Beitrag zur Skateschuhindustrie leisten wollten, indem sie ihr eigenes Unternehmen gründen anstatt gesponsert zu werden. Zu der Zeit, als die Lakai-Idee entwickelt wurde, hatten beide Fahrer ihre Positionen auf dem DC Shoes Team-Oster verlassen.

I buy these shoes all the time I have six pairs right now The newest pair of lakai’s I got were the Griffin girl addition they are a bit stiff but I think that because they are two years old when I receive them they look brand new👍

They didn’t last nearly as long as they should have... I skate on a daily basis and the shoe is already falling apart at the toe from flicks... not to mention the terrible flexibility but the shoe was decent

I bought this for my bf because this is his favorite brand. He has three pairs already and told me he want to get another pair so I bought this. The quality is great and very comfortable especially for long walks. I highly recommend this!
