Looked the exact same part when I compared the old one with the new one, but the new one didn't allow the cable to screw in as far as the old one. This causes the cable to be too long and messes up the gear selection. I checked the threaded portion of the new part and there was something in the threads, deep in the hole, stopping the screw/cable going as deep as it should. I had to use an M6 tap(thread cutting tool) to try and clear the thread. It took me about 30 mins with the tap, gently trying to clear the thread without the tap damaging the rubber bush.Apparently this part is not available from Ford/Fiat, and you have to buy the complete cable which is expensive and a pain to fit so maybe I can't complain too much. Maybe the seller should buy a flat bottomed M6 tap(flat so that the no long point as on a normal tap, to damage the rubber bush/plastic at the end of the hole) and clear the thread. To check an M6 screw should engage with the thread 14--15 mm.
