These are sharp pliers, and they produce a clean and easy cut when sniping cable ties. Time will tell how long they remain sharp, and budget Chinese tools are routinely made from comparatively low grade steel, so we will have to see.The hinge action is a little too stiff on my pair, and I need to physically pull them apart once they've been closed. This is an annoyance, and they ought to spring back open of their own accord. Hopefully they'll loosen off after some more use.It's a toss-up whether to spend less on a tool like this, or invest more on a professional quality German, British or Japanese made tool. Usually I do the latter, and that practice has stood me in very good stead over the years. If you have a limited budget though, and a less than long-term need for a pair of cutting pliers, these may be a purchase option for you to consider. Taking price into consideration I'm awarding four stars.

Really handy for me at work cutting cable ties flush in tight spaces and at weird angles I would definitely buy again

These are wire cutters from LEONTOOL which are made for cutting through thin materials like plastic and high gauge wire, which they do very well. They have a small 18mm jaw that’s very sharp indeed!Apart from how sharp they are, what I like about them is the 45° angle on the cutting edge. It makes it very easy to get into tight spots and make precise cuts. I've used them to trim plastic parts and cut through small wires without any trouble.They're made of decent quality steel, and the levers are comfortable to grip. I've used them quite a bit, and they've held up well so far. Leontool appears to manufacture some of the better budget tools I’ve tested.

Sharp and comfortable, excellent angle to cut cable ties from the most awkward positions. I am very happy I didn’t go for the much more expensive tool with same design.
