I got lassen volcanic which looks like a brightish true pink, but it is a very muted rose dusty pink. The yarn is soft and nice to work with, and color was nice, just not what I thought it would be.

when I ordered this yarn it looked like there were little flecks of white in it. But when I got it there were none. But I kept it and tried to use it. I soon found out that it split very easy. I still tried to work with it. I was making a very simple vest pattern that is called fish net. I have several vets in the same pattern so I am familiar with it. I crocheted several rows and it looked so big i compared it to myself as well as another vest that I knew fit. and found the length to be too big. In short I remade the back of this vest 3 times and fought with the yarn splitting to the point i ended up throwing the yarn away. It is a waste of my time and money to keep fighting with a yarn that keeps splitting and stretching out of shape. I would not recommend this yarn especially to a beginner.
