This is a beautiful set of wings, colorful, soft and large enough for a 7-8 year old and older. My daughter loves it. It's not the typical hard plastic set of fairy wings with elastics; these let the person (kid or adult) move around freely. They are tied at the back have an elastic that you put a finger through, which allows you to flap them. I haven't tried washing them, so I can't comment on the durability of the colors. I'll probably an extra pair in different colors, they're just so bright and beautiful.

Such a cute butterfly wing costume. It attaches like a cape around your neck, tied not with velcro.I like how the wings are not fully together as well, leaving kiddo so much space to move and flap their arms around.
