A great alternative to using the standard replacement wheel.Yes, it is slightly larger than the original wheel buy it fits perfectly into the cradle without alteration. It comes with spacers that will allow it to be padded or so that it doesn't hit the sides. This is in a Toro Timecutter 4250.What you do need to be aware of is that the normal front wheels add to the cushioning in the suspension. If you're doing rough ground, you will feel a bit rougher ride. This isn't a problem if you're not trying to go flat out.If you have smooth ground, chances are you won't notice a difference in ride.As the wheel is slightly larger, it may mean you'll need to lower the mowing deck one step further or adjust the front bolt for deck height.

I brought these looking for good quality replacement deck wheels on our JD1600.The rims seem to be constructed of the same gage steel as JD and will fit without any modifications but they only supply light duty ball bearings rather than the pair of needle bearings supplied with JD replacements. It appears that i can still put the new JD needle bearings in these axle tubes and paint them yellow and maintain a savings but it does require extra time and skills to do the work.
