The matte finish gives them a sleek and modern look, which adds a nice touch to my dining table. Each piece feels sturdy in hand, and I love how they don’t feel flimsy like some other sets I’ve used before.The variety in the pack is great too; it includes everything I need for everyday meals, from forks and knives to spoons. I’ve used them for more casual dinners and they’ve held up beautifully. Cleaning is a breeze as well; they’re dishwasher safe and come out looking just as good as new.

When I first saw these I thought they were really cool... then I picked them up and realized they needed a serious wash before use. After washing I found them... less appealing. The nice black finish they had was gone and left behind was this dull grey silverware covered in colorful spots where it looked almost oily. Additionally, one of the spoons lost a small chip of whatever the "black" coating is on first wash. I'm glad I noticed before I ate with it. I don't want that in my food. After the first wash nothing major changed with subsequent washes.So after that, why am I still giving these a 4 star? Because they're really nice utensils. They feel good in your hands, they have a sturdy feel, a good weight and honestly, I would still buy these again. (Maybe without the "Matte Black" gimmick next time. Just buy the silver ones.)
