I love this kit. It's so tiny! And it has almost everything you need in a light duty emergency sewing kit.I beefed it up a bit with a curved needle and some heavy-duty thread.

I recently added the VEPKOIT Tactical Military Survival Kit to my bug out bag and I am quite pleased with it. This compact sewing kit is well-equipped with all the necessary tools for quick fixes and patch-ups, making it a necessity for anyone who values preparedness.Key Features: • Comprehensive Kit: The kit includes 10 large-eye sewing needles, 6 straight pins, 6 safety pins, 4 woodland buttons, 4 desert buttons, 4 black buttons, 3 upholstery threads in black, green, and tan (15m each), 2 needle threaders, a ring thimble, folding scissors and a compact reusable nylon zipper case. • Portable and Durable: The nylon case is sturdy and designed to endure tough conditions, keeping all supplies secure and organized. Its portability makes it perfect for adding to a first aid kit, bug-out bag, or survival pack. • Effective Tools: The folding scissors are particularly impressive, providing sharp and precise cuts despite their small size. The inclusion of military fatigue-colored buttons and threads ensures that repairs can blend seamlessly with military fabrics.Performance:The tools included are of high quality, indeed suitable not just for military use but for everyday items like clothing, camping supplies, and upholstery. Whether you need to reattach a button, stitch a loose hole in a pillow, or perform any quick repairs on the go, this kit has it covered. And also looks like the bobbins would be able to fit in most sewing machines if you wanted to use them that way. Conclusion:Overall, the this Tactical Sewing Kit is a practical, well-designed solution for anyone who needs a reliable sewing kit in a pinch. Its affordability and the quality of its components make it a worthwhile investment for ensuring you’re always prepared for unexpected repairs. Every survival kit needs some sort of sewing supplies and this one is ideal.

This is actually a really good kit. The uppers are not cheap and the case material seems to be of good sturdy quality. The kit itself contain a bit of everything you would need to make repairs or alterations away from home.I added more needles of different sizes and some dyneema thread for stronger applications.Would recommend.

Okay, I will admit that I'd forgotten the lived experience of sewing repair. It is actually a pretty interesting hobby and a very effective pass time.If you have a bigger repair it does take a while to do this by hand, but this kit has everything that you need. Or at least everything I needed to repair ... I think I made four repairs this afternoon. A shirt button and two pants. This is vastly cheaper than buying a new shirt or pants ... especially if it is something nicer that you got damaged.Anyway ... this is nice and compact with a soft sided zippered carrying case. It has more needles than I expect to need for many years, and I really like that those come in a little hard sided vial. It has a collection of buttons, and pins both safety and non-safety pins. Three Colors of thread included. Each little spool with enough for quite a few repairs. The folding scissors feel sharp and rugged (for what they are). This little yellow ring can be used to push the needle through the fabric when the resistance is high. This would be easy to carry in a bag, or even in your pocket. I think the colors (all darks) were probably selected for military folks to make repairs, but if most of what you wear is dark in color then you should be good. This would be really good for quick emergency repairs if you are out on the road or in the field and you cannot send things out for professional repair or replacement on short notice.Think of this you have your suit split a seam or a button fall off a couple of hours before an important meeting. You can pretend you don't notice, decide to go casual, or make a quick repair.Do keep it mind that while making repairs can be fairly entrancing it is easy to lose track of time.
