This right here is the ultimate dad gag gift! With truly no practical application in the modern world, but infinite silly ones in terms of branding messages in your steaks or other random things around the kitchen, this brings a whimsical spirit to the backyard. Loading up the letters is easy enough, although locking them in perfectly takes some getting used to. But, hey, you're probably branding steaks for a formal dinner! You can get a message across in no time. A grand silly time is had by all.

While the clips on the sides could be better, this branding iron worked great and I’m excited to think of all the foodie possibilities! I did learn with charcoal you need to knock off the extra ash that collects around the letters when you bury it to heat it up, the ash affected the readability somewhat but otherwise the tool gave a great, dark sear on the steak. The other problem was the clips on the sides popped out so my letters spread a little. Not perfect, but I am still thrilled with the results and looking forward to using it a lot.

Man kann das Brandeisen gut gebrauchen. Durch die Länge des Alustabes ist es leider etwas instabil und ein etwas breiterer Buchstabenhalter wäre wünschenswert.
