I recently got it for my road bike, and while it’s a decent bag, it does have some drawbacks. First off, the space inside is great. It fits a lot of tools and even my phone, which is really convenient for longer rides. It has a 12L capacity, and you’ll definitely appreciate that, especially if you need to carry a few extras, like a jacket or snacks. The material feels solid, and the reflective strip is a nice touch for visibility when riding at night, something that's pretty useful if you're out after dark. However, there are a few things that could be better. The straps, for one, seem a bit flimsy for the weight it’s holding. I had to adjust them multiple times during my ride, which wasn’t the most convenient. The attachment system works fine, but it doesn’t give me the confidence I’d want for longer, rougher rides. I also found the zippers a little difficult to open with one hand. It's not a dealbreaker, but when you’re on the go and need something quickly, it’s a bit of a hassle. Another thing is the bag could use a bit more internal organization. If you like to keep your stuff separated, you might find it a bit frustrating because there are no small compartments inside, so everything ends up jumbled together. It doesn’t have a water-resistant lining either, so I’m a bit concerned about using it in heavy rain. The size of the bag is a double-edged sword; on the one hand, it’s roomy, but on the other, it can make the bike feel a bit bulky at the back, especially when you’re really hauling. I also noticed that over time, the reflective strip has started to peel at the edges. It's not terrible, but it definitely lowers the overall durability of the bag. The black color looks sleek, but it does show dirt and grime a lot quicker than I expected, so it needs frequent cleaning. The stitching seems sturdy, but I did notice a few loose threads after just a few uses, so the long-term durability is still something I’m questioning. It’s not a bad bag by any means, but I wouldn't call it top-tier either. If you're looking for something practical for daily rides or short trips, it gets the job done, but I wouldn’t rely on it for more extreme conditions or longer tours unless you make sure to reinforce the straps yourself.

I wanted a luggage rack but my mountain bike has no rear fork and no easy way to mount the front of a noraml luggage rack. I found this product which is pretty unconventional. It mounts on the seat and seat post and then just hangs out there, mid-air. Odd but so effective.Biggest disadvantage is that it takes some time and fuss to get something into or out of this bag. The bag is waterproof and uses a roll-and-clip closure, (like the dry bags used in river rafting). Tradeoff between easy access and the high degree of waterproof protection. I would not hesitate to put a camera in here and bike in the rain.Lots of room in this. The elastic cords on the top are a bonus, for attaching small things you want to get at easily.Attractive and well made.

This bag did not come with any instructions. This means I spent about 20 minutes trying every combination of mounting it to my bike before I finally got it. It fit best as you see it and it seems very secure. There is a surprising amount of storage as I put some insulated rain pants in it and I still had room for my gore-tex, so innovation meets expectation and that is awesome. The colors were a great match to my Marin and the bag did not swing around as much as you would think even with weight, although it is going to do that a little. When in fully compressed mode, there is still a lot of room in there as the bottom of the bag is semi-rigid.I would not carry leftovers in this bag nor would I leave the straps unhooked as it could do what straps and spokes always do. For weather gear or a well packaged picnic lunch, this is as good as any rack based solution. On the other hand, something without a fender would be a bad idea as fabric and road grime don't play well together long term. The only downside if you must have one is that it takes up the seat post rear light area.If you are riding a rear suspension bike with something like a Mud Hugger long fender, this is probably the best way to bring stuff with you that I can think of. It will certainly not scratch your paint, that is for sure.Recommended!

I ordered this for an upcoming bikepacking trip hoping that it will fit my tent and sleeping bag, and maybe my rain jacket. It turns out that I was surprised that the bag has a pretty spacious interior as you can see in my phot putting my ul tent inside. It will easily fit my down quilt, inflatable pad and pillow, mini pump and maybe a couple of other things. My jacket can be placed on top using the built-in bungee so it's easy to get at. The mouth has a velcro closure in addition to the rollup and buckle closure which keeps it snug and is normal on these types of bags.Gotta say, I really like this bag, it certainly fits my purpose and as long as you're reasonable about putting in lighter items as I did, it stays firmly attached. Keep in mind that it's only attached at one end.

this is one of the more interesting bike bags I've ever used let alone saddlebags. it's a 12 liter roll top bag that somehow fits under the seat. it doesn't look like it will but it actually does. when empty you can compress it down but it looks smushed. if you fill it, it holds a ton btw, then you have a huge bag sticking up behind you. at first it looks weird but works well centering the weight and so long as you pack it with intent, it shouldn't skew or wobble much if at all.
