Beeps when close to level; beeps louder whn exactly level. Convenient for difficult to reach places.

Better than expected. Convenient size. Nice level with good functions, easy to read display, solid construction and strong magnet. Appears to be accurate relative to my older 4' bubble level. Will know even better about its accuracy after I finish building the deck!Despite its solid construction, it is a "box level" made out of metal and probably would not withstand a fall from the top of a ladder like a cast aluminum based levels.

I've used spirit box levels all my life and never knew I needed a digital one until I got this one.While this level is quite short and has only one side to be used for measurements, it really makes up for it in accuracy versatility (and doesn't break the bank either).This level came with a hand-written certificate of calibration and I believe it! Digital measurements and horizontal spirit level are bang on when compared to two of my other levels (I stacked this level on top of those to check). The vertical/plumb bubble is a tiny bit off - digital level says it's 0.30 degrees off plumb. That's quite close and frankly not really necessary given the digital readout.Speaking of the digital readout, this is obviously the "main event" and what makes this super handy. This level really pairs well with a mitre saw - helping figure out exact angles at a glance. It also has reference mode to easily get angles off surfaces that aren't plumb or level. Level also converts degrees into percent or rise/drop in mm per m / in per ft with a push of a button. The LCD backlight is nice and bright and there is also a sound mode if you're trying to line things up without looking at the level.I still use regular levels most of the time but found this one to be extremely handy. I often stack this level on top of my linger box levels to get a precise reading. It's sort of a torque wrench equivalent to socket wrenches. Definitely recommended!
