These work great, have great compression, and definitely stay in place. They are for sure "extra long" just like advertised. They fit me perfectly, and the fabric is very comfortable. I can't think of anything to complain about.

My 11yo son plays baseball and needed white socks for a costume, so I decided to try these in hopes that he could use them for baseball afterwards. Unfortunately these aren’t very useful for baseball due to the extremely long length. I understand that they are supposed to be scrunched, but I think it had the effect of being uncomfortable. I also got the medium size, which should have fit him as a size 7 shoe wearer according to the chart, and he could barely get these on, despite being a tall and skinny kid.Maybe if I had gotten the Large it would have worked out better, but it’s hard to say, given that the Large is supposed to be for an adult male. If the scrunch style is for football then we don’t have experience with that, but it is definitely not comfortable enough for baseball.

These are not socks, they are stockings. They are ridiculously long and I can pull the medium size up way further than my legs are long. My wife thought they were a pair of hold-ups. In my picture they are folded over twice at the top end and they are still way past my knees.They are very compressive too. There's lots of support for your muscles, and they are really comfortable if a bit of a chore to put on as you really need to pull them up, and up, and up. The tight fit means they're not great for football as it's a very tight effort to get a pair of shinpads under these. I assume the 'football' referred to in the packaging is american football.There is some light padding on the ankles and the soles, and the rest of the sock has quite a wide weave so they are not too hot to wear.They are really nice socks, but they are very clearly intended for american sports like baseball. They're too tight for soccer, and too thin for rugby, and too long for athletics. For everything else though, they're really nice. Size is as expected, where a medium is about a size 7-8.

I got these socks for my son as he plays baseball year around.Baseball socks come in so many different styles including this one. It is very thin and less durable than some other brands. So it wasnt very comfortable. It did hold up for the last season but doesn't look well and won't be able to be used again.
