Most cable trays available on Amazon still leave the cables visible, usually through one open side. I wanted something to hide them completely, and the alternatives that could do so were much more expensive.This was fairly easy to install after marking and drilling a few holes in my desk for the bracket. The compartment itself slips on easily.This is perfectly sized for my Ikea project desk - the common configuration with a 74" butcher block above two Alex drawer units. With the drawers just slightly inset from the edges of the top, they leave just enough room for this unit to take up almost all the space remaining in between.There's room above the unit with the surface of the desk not obstructed by the bracket. I may drill some grommet holes in it to make my cable organization even neater, so cables can go directly down into the unit.

This cable management caddy was quite easy to install. As shown in my photos, it matched our desk very well and looks very stylish. It's a distinct improvement on the open basket we had before.It screws in underneath the desk, so keep that in mind when installing as we had to relocate it after my husband realised that the clamp for his monitor stand wouldn't fit.That small hiccup aside, he found it quick and easy to install and is very happy with it.However, we do recommend that you keep the height of your chargers in mind when considering this product. As shown in my third photo, if you have a tall charger plug on a device such as an Apple laptop, you may find you'll need to jig things around a bit.Having said that, it really does look very tidy and neat and we're happy with it.
