About a decade ago, I had my hip replaced, and then a year ago I had another hip replacement.One thing you find out is that it’s a “ long way down” to your shoes after hip replacement.I had a couple of extended shoehorns, they were handy, but they were made of cheap plastic material or thin metal.This is industrial strength and super convenient.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well made the shoe horn is. Because it is long, I expected it to be weak and bendable. But it's not. I wasn't sure if it would be long enough my son to use while standing up. Its tall enough that my 5'8 son doesn't have to bend over to use the shoe horn while standing. The handle has a leather cover, which I didn't expect either. The leather handle makes using the shoe horn easy to hold. I recommend this shoe horn, especially if you need to use it to put your shoes on while standing.
