Now I've had the chance to use this reel both for float and light ledger fishing and it's been amazing. I spooled one with 6lb line and the other with 8lb line.I've used the 6lb for float fishing and the ease in which the line comes flys off is great and I can easily get 25 yards plus out as the spool is so smooth. The reel and rod together feel balanced and light to hold for long periods of time because it has been so cold I move around my local pond.It feels well built with the internals feeling very slick.I've bought Okuma before and I'd buy Okuma again!
