Das hochglänzende schwarze Gehäuse wird in einer Reihe von Produktionsschritten aus hochwertigem Edelharz gefertigt und anschließend mit einem Diamanten auf Kontur geschliffen. Die palladinierten Ringe am Ober- und Unterteil werden mit höchster Präzision eingepasst, bevor das Schreibgerät auf Hochglanz poliert wird. Der leicht federnde, typische Pelikan Schnabelclip verleiht diesem hochwertigen Schreibgerät sein unverwechselbares Design. Der Druckbleistift Souverän D405 ist mit einer Hi-polymer-Mine in der Stärke 0,7mm ausgestattet.

I just received this Pelican today. It had been a “grail” pen for some time.I ordered an EF nib and I’m surprised at how wide the nib writes. Glad I got the EF!It fills easily enough with the plunger mechanism.It seems to be a smooth writer. I look forward to putting it into service!Observations: the nib is beautifully done. The color of the barrel (mine is blue and black) is much nicer as I hold it in my hand compared to the photographs I’ve seen. It is a lighter weight than I prefer, but I’m sure I’ll adapt.I highly recommend a Pelican for anyone looking for a quality pen; looking for an exquisite gift for someone; or, looking to step up in quality.I’m pleased.

第一印象は思ったより、軽く、小さい。そしてノック感も含めて、安っぽい。でした。しかし、実際に使っているうちに、あまり高級に見えない自然さが使いやすく、リフィルの調子も良く、手放せなくなりました。ペリカンを使っているという自己満がありつつも、周りからは嫌らしく見えない、このバランスが良いんです。後、パーカー芯というのも良いです。今はシュミット製のイージーフローを入れてます。

I love this. I have a lot of nice pens (several montblancs, a parker sonnnet, and an otto hutt), so the competition is fierce. It seemed a bit small/diminutive when I unboxed it, but I've come around in a few hours. The balance is great. Going to be nice to add to the rotation!

Bought this pen for my wife as a birthday present. She loves it! I researched ballpoint pens and was pleased with the workmanship of this pelican pen. I highly recommend.
