I paired these interior file folders with Smead Fastab hanging file folders in moss green, and they have a great classic office look together. These folders are a bit darker than the picture, and they are a little thin compared to my manila folders. Can't find the actual weight of the paper listed anywhere. I almost wish I'd gotten the Smead folders, people say they are sturdier. I got these because they seem to be a lighter brown, but as I said, they're darker than the photo. On the plus side, a thinner folder takes up less room in the file drawer, and these seem to hold a lot of papers, so they are sturdy in that sense. Overall very pleased with them!

Still flimsy, although better than most. Sure do wish somebody would make these brown folders the way they used to.

I love the look and feel of these file folders!! The kraft color reminds me of file folders from the wartime era of 40's (I even made the labels using a typewriter font to go for the full effect). They are sturdy and even though they are not made of the super thick card stock, they are not flimsy at all. I have a few that I've been carrying around for weeks now, stuffed with paper and they've held up remarkably well.By the way, I used these for some really fun craft projects - just wish Pendaflex would make them in a smaller size too.
