Refrigerator came damaged and the exchange was also faulty however I am certain this is down to Amazon and not the seller. Amazon are notorious for being un-professional however The Seller is professional and i can not fault them.

I had three fridges before this one, as I was trying to find the best one for Car Camping. They all seemed to be power-hungry. This fridge, though, is temperature-controlled, so when it reaches the temperature you set, it stops drawing power. So my power station can now last days with this fridge. I love it.I was unsure whether to get this one or the smaller but when I looked at the measurements the smaller one pretty much has the same footprint because its a compressor fridge. So I went for the bigger one. It's brilliant. You could freeze items or like me set it to 2 degrees and have everything nice and cold.Really impressed with this model and can't wait to use it when camping. If you need a portable fridge for the house/camping or anything, this is well worth it.Well done Phillips. :)

Outstanding, it was exactly what I wanted and so far seems to be working perfectly, as I would expect from a Phillips product

First, overall I really like this fridge. I got the 26 Quart variant and I am able to store an entire pack of water in it. But there is little to no room left after that. We got this primarily for vacations and to avoid having to get ice every day. We have a rear Cigarette lighter adaptor in our cargo area of our vehicle- so having this is really handy. I purchased an Anker 522 Power station in conjunction with this so that the fridge will continue to operate while the car is not in use. Because of this I am able to get some accurate power readings as my anker battery device displays the real time power consumption. When first turned on - it consumes about 23 Watts - and when the compressor kicks on - that goes to about 40W. Most cars provide 100W total for the cigarette lighter adapters, so unsurprisingly - this will not strain the power your car has available. When I loaded the fridge completely full - unsurprisingly - the compressor stayed on nearly continuously to maintain temperature for about an hour, and then it kicked off for a bit. So figuring out how long this will last on a single charge of the anker battery is a bit difficult as it depends on how much cold soak the items in the fridge has. You can rely on the anker battery lasting at least 4 hours of continual compressor operation. The real test will be how well this cooler is insulated, and I've not yet had a chance to get into real world testing in a hot car with the engine off.Getting into the things that cost a star for my review. It seems very silly to not include an AC power adaptor at this price point. Virtually all the generic chinese brands of coolers include this as a standard. What is worse, is that the only AC adaptor I was able to find was an eye watering $50. I was able to get my cooler on a special where the AC adaptor was free of charge with the purchase and frankly its pretty much the only reason I got it. The brand matters and I trust Phillips to have good quality control over some of the generic brands. One thing I found odd was that there is no way to change the temperature display on this particular model into Fahrenheit. That seems short sighted and kind of lazy on the part of the designer. I knew this going into it, but I don't think in terms of metric - and a simple bit of programming could have accounted for this easily. Another minor gripe is its lack of wifi and or bluetooth at this price level. I am not really sure that I NEED to be able to wireless mess with the temperature settings - or power it on or off - this is again - a feature than many of the cheaper competitors have, that this does not. Its a minor thing - as I am pretty sure I am going to just set my desired temperature and leave it there. The size is exactly what I was after - its about the size of a medium sized traditional cooler with a quarter of the space being taken up by the compressor and electronics. Which is fine considering the elimination for needing ice.Another pro of this fridge is its ability to be a freezer. The temperature can be set below zero (well below zero in fact) so if you are needing to actually freeze things - it has that ability as well. Although I am assuming the compressor would need to run quite a bit more to maintain those low temps - and again - the level of insulation remains to be tested for me in a parked car with temps going well past 120 degrees. In all I would recommend this, however I think that future iterations would do better fixing a few of these gripes and it would move to a perfect 5 star review. The ability to have a small fridge in your car is an immense benefit on a long trip. The AC adaptor increases its use cases even more!
