This is good though you need your own bar and other equipment to make it work. The cards are big enough to be read even when you are a bit tired and lacking focus and the glossy coating means I dont worry that im going to wear them out with sweat super easily. Workouts are varied and allow you to hit multiple different muscle groups at different intensities because you can use a more or less thick band on your bar. Overall, a good buy if you want some help finding exercises with your bar.

I’ve had a Pilates bar for a while now, but never really knew what to do with it other than a couple of very basic moves. I’m super new to trying to work fitness into my life, so I really appreciate any visual reminder I can get. However, I also struggle with visual spatial clues, so just seeing an exercise in a card doesn’t always help me interpret how do it accurately. Thankfully, you can just scan the card to see a quick video on how to do the represented exercise! It’s honestly fool proof! If you are new to exercising and Pilates, but are looking to incorporate more movement and hopefully tone up, this is a fantastic way to dip your toe in the pond. You get a ton of high quality cards, video links, and rings to store the cards on for about the cost of 2-3 cups of coffee. How can you go wrong with that? And, a Pilates bar and these cards are very travel friendly, so there are no more excuses for not fitting some exercise into your day!

These are the best things I have ordered to try to keep in shape. I am a caregiver and do what I can, when I can. It is nice to do one or two exercises while I am cooking and waiting for something to come to a boil or whatever. The only problem with the cards, I carry them around and forget where I last used them. They do get used and that is a plus. You need some to carry around too if you have a hard time fitting in workouts.

My set came in a relatively mediocre-quality box (easy to crush, in my opinion). That said, I had no intention of keeping it in the box! There were 2 good-quality silver rings for putting the cards on (so you can split them up into sections if you like). Now, this set is for Pilates Bars, which is actually quite a versatile way to exercise! There are 48 numbered cards (front and back have information about one exercise on each card). The front of the card has pictures to show you WHAT to do (there is also a QR code, too) with suggestion for series and reps on there, and the back side of the card gives you instructions on how to make that happen (ie, use a door anchor, resistance bands, etc). There might also be tips included. There are colors for each section:Upper Body (blue)Lower Body (dark pink)Core (green)Workout suggestions (dark yellow)I really liked the workout suggestions section, as that gave you a warm-up card for before each workout, a suggested workout for back + abs, shoulders + core, legs + glutes, chest + arms, and had a couple of "create your own" workout cards. A few other cards, too. Each of these cards is a bit thicker and taller than your "average playing card" size. They're laminated cardstock and feel to me like they'll be pretty resistant to "sweat" while you're in the gym or wherever. The holes for attachment to the rings are already in them, so it's just a really convenient way to carry them and for active use.Overall, these cards are easily usable, have good exercises on them (to me), are affordable (to me), and I liked that the way they were made. Highly recommend!

The card deck is interesting and is giving me ways to use the new Pilates bar I just got. Most of the exercises are done standing, although a few are floor exercises. The deck includes upper body, lower body, and core exercise cards, which are printed on both sides of the cards. They are color coded by area of body being worked: blue for upper, red for lower, and green for core. Brown cards include warm-ups; a guide; a 5-week challenge card; two cards featuring suggested workouts for back + abs, legs + glute, shoulders + core, and chest + arms; two cards for creating your own workout; and a calendar card. You can write on these with a dry erase marker and clean it off. I tried it and it works great. The card numbers are printed consecutively with the upper body running from 1 to 22, lower body is 23 to 40, and core is 41 to 48. The fronts show the exercise and include a QR code, which will take you to a short YouTube video (there is no voiceover, so there no language barrier on the videos) that shows the exercise being done correctly. The backs of the cards include a detailed explanation of how to do the exercise. I watched a couple of video. The can be helpful and they're quick, so it's not a time waster, but I appreciate having the printed instructions, too. While I do have access to online workouts, I like these cards for their simple approach. I don't have to log in to anything, and I can quickly shuffle through the set and pick out a few short things to do without making a major time commitment. The cards have holes punched in the top corner and two metal binder rings were included with the card deck. I guess one ring can be used to hold the entire set, while the second ring could hold the workout you've designed for today. (You are working out today, aren't you? ;) )The design allows for flexibility in planning workouts and that's part of its appeal. The write-on/wipe-off feature is pretty cool. There is space to write your reps and sets, although that part is kind of small, so a fine-line dry erase marker would be best to use for these cards. They do not come with a pen (and they don't advertise this, so no problem). I think the price is reasonable for the product and because they're laminated they should last for awhile.
