Iroshizuku inks are favorites of the fountain pen community because they behave splendidly. They flow well from the pen, dry quickly, and clean out of the pen without undue effort. I own 8 of the colors enjoying them every time I use them. What I love about this color is how the blue toned gray looks like a winter sky. I have it in a Lamy Alstar 1.1 stub. Loving my winter journal!

This is my fifth product orders via amazon and each time I got a perfect product. I recommend this product to those who enjoy unique colours, high quality and of cores relatively low price.

Everything about the Iroshizuku range of ink is superb. The colors, the consistency, and not least the bottle itself. Although no longer handmade (I'm told) they are still every bit as elegant. Actually the one I received had enough individual character to make me think it might well be handmade. It refracts the light in a most appealing way. Fuyu-syogun is a delicate hue that goes on dark and quickly dries to a cool grey. Formal enough for serious writing, stylish enough for everything else. The only problem with Iro is that I really want to collect the set. Which would be crazy. Would that be crazy?

Absolutely beautiful colour of ink. Using it with a Lamy All-star pen fitted with a fine nib. At first refill, the ink looks quite watery, but with use it will darken and look perfectly readable on any type of paper. On white Rhodia paper, it eases the contrast that you would normally get using a typical blue ink. My favourite notebook to use this ink with is the Midori MD paper; it's off-white colour really brings out the dreamy softness of the ink.

the shape of the bottle is so beautiful and the ink is very smooth to write, not to mention the color, it's so amazing!

Yes, it's a little expensive for 50ml coloured water, but what a colour! Fuyu-syogun is a very pleasing bluish gray which I've not seen elsewhere. It's not as vague or soft as I'd imagined it to be - it's very readable.

wurde mit diesem Blau-Grau bestens getroffen, und inzwischen zählt Fuyu-Syogun zu meinem liebsten Tinten von Iroshizuku, die sich zudem in gewohnter Weise auch bestens schreiben lässt.
