Basically trash, I'm surprised they are making me send it back at all. The picture in the listing shows it can be hung side by side- first of all; the angle of the "rack" is too steep, the rack is too short to fit a regular pair of carving skis with bindings. It scraped the walls and is putting pressure on the side of the bindings - not ideal in my opinion. Secondly, it is so flimsy I wouldn't hang clothes from it, let alone hundreds of dollars worth of equipment. Perhaps slightly better for a snowboard but I have a hard time imagining that it would.It is entirely unusable side by side by design as the screws sits less than an inch apart in the middle - giving no support on the top or the bottom of the piece of plastic, resulting in the thing swaying side to side as there is only one point of support. You're basically forced to buy two pairs (4pcs total) to have any stability whatsoever and shelling out over $20?!Now to the installation, it is nearly impossible to screw it to the wall, whether you use a hand drill and screwdrivers you'd basically need special equipment. e.i. an extended drill bit screw bit or by hand a very short screwdriver because you CAN'T screw it in at a straight angle since the "rack" blocks the screw holes. You can't use a standard tool. I'm fairly handy but this is just poor design in every aspect..I can't believe the positive reviews, this junk is not worth 99¢! I bought steel double hooks with plastic coating (protects the skis and perfect width) and I got 6 pairs of hooks for $20 - much easier to install, STABLE, secure and I did not need anything besides my hand drill to get it done.

OK, so, these are no solid wood or made of metal, and they are kinda flimsy. But, these are really cheap, and the design to hold them on the wall really works. I have 8 pairs to hang up my skateboards and did a fine job. Now, you do have to be gentle on them when you put and take the skateboards on them. So, this is for the ones who has a limited budget and needs a lot of them. If you only have 2 or 3 boards, get some sturdy ones. But I have over 10 skateboards and don't feel like spending too much on wall hangers for them, these are great.

Works well to mount Skis. I'm an intermediate when it comes to mounting (tvs, shelves, etc.) so this was pretty straightforward. I am slightly nervous about the strength of the racks to hold up the skis, given that it's a relatively flimsy plastic, but that's what you get for this price point, which is why it still gets a five star review. That being said, I gave it a few extra tugs after I had my skis and poles up there and it seems sturdy enough.Assuming it doesn't come crashing down on me and give me a concussion, I think this is a very good product given the cost. If it does fall down, you can bet that this review will be quickly updated. Lol
