I am an avid windsurfer, and this set of three picture perfect windsurf sails turning in front of my house is the perfect whirly-gig for me.100% of the neighborhood children think it is awesome, and it is a regular stroller stop for the preschoolers with their parents.The regulator does work and keeps it from flying apart even in 40 mph gusts. After two years, the axle hole that holds one of the sail masts cracked, and all I had to do to repair it was shift all the sails over one hole as there are six holes predrilled for the three masts.The elastic strings slowly stretch out, but it is easy to adjust them and keep the necessary tension.The slow fading is not an issue as they always looked great when backlit by the sun.If you want the poles to be even taller, you can just spend $10 and get a steel pipe that fits inside the base of the aluminum pole and hose clamp a rubber bumper onto the pipe to keep the pole from sliding down.

Easy to install & within minutes the fun starts. Pricey, but worth every smile in these times. All neighbors are big fans!

Produkt wie beschrieben, Aufbau nach Anleitung gemacht und funktionierte auf Anhieb. Auch bei größeren Windstärken (derzeit bis zu 45 km/h) ohne Probleme und auch noch ohne die beigefügte Abspannung.

Well made and colorful, this "twirleygig" is a nice roadside feature. We get lots of honks of appreciation simply because it puts a smile on people's faces. Initially we had an issue with high winds collapsing the fabric sails off the center hub, but after we stretched the tension to maximum the problem was solved. The mast is aluminum and clicks together nicely, while the ground stake support is iron/steel allowing you to sledge hammer it in sufficiently. Overall, we love it.UPDATE: June 2015 and still going strong!

I have bought 5 of these over the years. Not because they are poorly made, but because I really like them! After three or so years they just just abused by the wind and weather (I keep them in my yard year 'round)and fall apart, so I buy another one. If you like wind spinner and whiligigs, this is a great one. Maybe next time I'll the 12 footer!
