Ihr Warenkorb ist leer ProDec is the UK's biggest and most widely distributed brand of trade decorating tools and accessories.
This 5 piece 9" (225mm) professional paint roller kit makes light work of walls and ceilings and gives a trade quality finish. With its distinctive tiger stripe pattern, the rollers are ProDec's most popular roller used by the trade with emulsion and masonry paints due to the excellent balance of performance and value for money. They pick up plenty of paint without over-loading, enabling you to effortlessly power through large areas, with even paint application for efficiency and excellent coverage to minimise the number of coats required. The fabric is machine woven, giving the fibres a double anchor with low lint and excellent durability, standing up to heavy duty use and washing out well after use, enabling the roller to be reused time after time. The 12mm (0.5") medium pile is suitable for interior emulsion paints (eg. matt, silk, eggshell) on smooth surfaces such as plaster, drywall, ceilings (including light to medium textured plasters such as artex) and masonry paints on semi-smooth surfaces such as brick. It is suitable for colour changes both similar to the previous one and more substantial such as light to dark or vice-versa (the opacity/covering power of the paint is of course critical as well).
The set comes with a durable, hardwearing trade cage roller frame that has a push fit handle for extension poles and a rugged tray made from 100% recycled plastic.
For best results the roller should be washed in cold or tepid water before first use to remove any loose fibres. Stand the roller on its end and allow it to dry fully (ideally overnight) before using. For heavily textured masonry surfaces, consider using a longer pile roller such as ProDec's Long Pile or Heavy Duty rollers which are cut to 18mm or 25mm to better get into the texture. For gloss and satin paints, choose a shorter pile ProDec roller: either a specialist Gloss Pile or foam roller, or a shorter pile woven fabric like 6mm Short Pile Microfibre.
