I grow most of our veggies and herbs in my indoor basement garden year around. Since many potting soils are sterilized to kill harmful bacteria, fungal spores, and pest, the good bacteria and fungi beneficial necessary to help plants absorb nutrients are also killed. When adding plant foods to the soil, they are not as effective without the bacteria and fungi to break them down and make them useful to the plants.I initially bought the 8 ounce size of the RAW microbes to try them and to see if they made a difference. I add 1 tsp. to a gallon of water in addition to the plant food I normally used. Within a couple of weeks, there was a noticeable increase of growth on my herbs, and greens, i.e., kale, collards, amaranth, and others. I decided to buy this 2 lb. package since it is much more economical for the plants that I have. The pictures included are all plants that I grow indoors.Something I really like about this microbe supplement is that it lists the the specific bacteria and fungi included. Most other microbial supplement say that they are in the product but don't list what they are. I recently bought a few bottles of a popular supplement that is advertised as a fertilizer. Yet, the bottle specifically states that it supplies only microbes to enable plants to absorb nutrients already in the soil. This particular supplement is actually a soil enhancer, but specific microbes included are not mentioned on the label At $29.99 for a 32 ounce bottle, it can be very expensive when you need to use 1-2 ounces per gallon of water. Without content specifics, you really don't know what you are paying for.If you grow a garden outside, and use a weed killer, this kills the microbes in the soil. This supplement will help to restore the microbial balance in the soil to improve the health and productivity in your outdoor garden as well.I would definitely recommend this supplement whether you grow plants indoors or outdoors. I enjoyed the consistency, it mixed easily into water. The flavor was very fresh and it goes down smooth. Plants seem happy.

This is the first microbial product I've used that actually shows results. All my plants perked the same day I applied these microbes to my soil, and my plants stems and branches are getting thicker as I use it. I'm using super soil, and the only change I've made is adding this to soil of my plants in veg. Give it a try. My plants in veg love this stuff.5/5
