Always useful for in school bag or on days out. Definitely waterproof and packs up small. The fit is slim though so I always buy a size up.

Compact jacket fits into zipped bag which I bought for my son to keep in his school bag for those unexpected showers.Once wet dries quickly and folds back up for another rainy day!

This is a great jacket for sticking in my sons school bag in case of a rain shower. It doesn’t take up much room and the jacket does keep him dry. The only thing I would say is ‘buy a larger size than you need’ it’s very small. My son is a tall 9 year old who’s in age 12 clothes. I bought an age 13 in this jacket and it has no room for growth whatsoever. It won’t fit him for long.
