Well made shoe but did not fit my son very well. Had to return them which is a shame.

Having despaired at Clarks' and Start-rite's selection of styles and attitude that they only really get stock in at 'peak' times, (of course my children's feet only grow at 'peak' times); I went in search on-line and found these... excellent quality, smart, polishable, lightweight, sturdy and used with the printable measuring guide (Ricosta site), I am able to fit the shoe properly too.I would say that the shoe comes up a little large: My son's feet measured between a 38.5 and 39 Wide fitting and he has about 3cm of room at the toe (we bought the 39). The width seems good.

These are really good school shoes, not too clumpy. My son has quite wide feet and a high instep and these fit him very well and he says they are very comfortable so ended up buying a second pair in the next size.
