I use this paper when out taking pictures to record the scene. Paper works as noted in all weather environments and I was able to print a standard image that I use in photography to record the scene - I would highly recommend for a field environment.

I lightly sprayed a sheet of Rite in the Rain paper with water. The paper buckled as ordinary paper does. The sheet I used was the sample that already has ink printing on it. The ink did not bleed; however, waterproof means waterproof with lay-flat properties! Too bad, because the delicate green color I ordered is gorgeous. Until it buckles and stays buckled after drying, that is.

So the paper is fine, now it's the ink I need to change.Overall it's pretty cool at how this paper holds in the rain and snow...Not as good as topographical paper but that is fine for my intended purpose

Stands up to the weather well, and drys just as like it had never been was wet. Great choice!

Works as advertised. It looks and feels just like high quality paper. After printing, I took it to the sink and ran water over it, and the water just rolls off of it. The laser printer available to me only prints black, so I traced over the trail using a colored sharpie. The sharpie wrote on it just fine, and it remained waterproof too. I've used the paper a couple of times now to print maps of backpacking trails. Folded up, they fit in my pocket or my backpack. They haven't gotten rained on yet, but there was plenty of sweat, and one day I got soaked walking through dew-covered vegetation. Exposed to all that, there were no problems at all with my map.
