I bought this specifically to help me get more of my dogs hair out of the carpets. It seems to work very well as I'm seeing more hair come into the vacuum. I was skeptical on purchasing this carpet rake due to the reviews talking about how easy it breaks. So far, not a problem for me. The strength of the handle can't be used to determine this carpet rake because it depends on how much pressure other people were putting on this rake. It is very simple to use, I rake once, vacuum, then rake again. The size is pretty average which is nice because I think if the handle was shorter or longer than it's current size, that it would be awkward to handle. Lol it can actually be kind of relaxing to me when raking the carpet, I don't know why. I would recommend this carpet rake to anyone.

Impressed with the build and the capable way this rake makes shag look new. It also helps get out deep particles and pet hair. Seems silly to use a rake on carpet but it really digs deep to refresh your carpet and especially so when used with a vacuum. Recommended.

My extra thick carpets were beginning to look shaggy which was giving them a worn out look even though they were only 2 years old. This brush works really well to lift the pile and restore the look of the carpet by about 75% in heavy traffic areas.
